Lucky, There's a Savior

Jesus Christ wasn't just a moral teacher; Jesus Christ didn't come to make bad people good. Jesus Christ came to make dead people live.

There's nothing we can do about people who say to themselves "I'm guilty" and don't have a desire to change.

But.

When a person comes to you broken and hurting, humbling themselves and saying "I've sinned", you can say with hope, confidence, and joy: "Ah, then I have a Savior for you".

The cross on which Jesus Christ died is absolutely beautiful. It shows the amazingly crazy and jealous love of our God. The God who was willing to sacrifice the thing He loved most in the universe just to have an opportunity so spend the rest of eternity loving and caring and playing with his children.

Today, I'm thankful that the God of the universe, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Jealous God, the Providing God, loved me. HE loves ME. Me. He sent the one He loved the most to die on the cross in my place. He did that so I wouldn't have to get hit with the entire truckload of Gods judgment. I'm thankful that You loved me God. I love you so much. Even though I sinned, and am an awful wretched person: You still love me, and esteem me more than Yourself. I love you. You are amazing.

That's what I'm thankful for today.

I love you all, I hope you have a great day.

God, give my friends and family a great day.

Amen.
